How to use these videos when choosing a gate motor

A video can help you understand how a product works, but the right gate motor depends on the gate's weight, length, condition, usage frequency, site layout and power requirements. Before choosing a replacement or new system, have the gate and its mechanical movement assessed by a competent installer.

Sliding gates: Check the gate's travel, track, wheels, rack alignment and operating requirements before selecting a motor.
Swing gates: The gate leaf dimensions, hinge condition, opening angle and operator mounting geometry affect the suitable solution.
SMART features: App functions and setup steps can vary by model, controller and software version. Follow the instructions for your exact equipment.
Repairs: If a gate is stuck, reversing unexpectedly or showing a fault, consult the correct troubleshooting guide or arrange a technician visit.

Important safety notes

Automatic gates contain moving parts and electrical equipment. Keep people and vehicles clear while testing the gate. Do not bypass safety devices or attempt electrical work unless you are qualified to do so. For installation, wiring, limit setup, force settings or persistent faults, use the manufacturer's instructions and a competent gate automation technician.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find official Centurion gate motor help?

Start with the Centurion/CentSys technical support portal and select your exact product model.

Are all the links in this list official Centurion videos?

No. The library distinguishes official support resources from independent videos and YouTube search results. Check the source and the content before sharing any link as official guidance.

Can I use any D5 video to set up a D6 or D10 motor?

Not necessarily. Controllers and procedures differ between models and versions. Use the manual and support information for the exact model installed at your property.

What should I do if my automatic gate is not opening?

Keep people clear of the gate and avoid forcing it. Check for obvious obstructions without opening the motor housing, then consult the correct model-specific support guide or contact a qualified technician if the fault continues.

Editorial note: Check the availability, accuracy and model relevance of every video link periodically. Captions are descriptive labels, not a guarantee that a linked video contains the exact procedure named.
