Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we receive most often — you may find exactly what you need right here.

How much does gate automation cost in Kenya?

Gate automation prices vary by gate type, size, and motor brand. A standard residential sliding gate typically costs KSh 45,000–120,000 installed. Swing gate automation starts from KSh 55,000. We provide free written quotations — use our instant quote tool or contact us directly.

Do you serve clients outside Nairobi?

Yes — we install gate automation systems across all 47 counties in Kenya. We regularly work in Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, Nanyuki, Machakos, Kitengela, and beyond. Transport and logistics costs for upcountry projects are quoted transparently.

How quickly do you respond to enquiries?

We respond to calls and WhatsApp messages immediately during business hours (Mon–Fri 8:30 am–5:30 pm). Online messages and emails are responded to within 2 business hours. WhatsApp is the fastest channel for urgent queries and emergency gate repairs.

Do you offer free site assessments?

Yes — site assessments are completely free of charge and without any obligation. Our technician will visit your property, assess the gate size and site conditions, advise on the right motor brand, and provide a detailed written quotation at no cost.

My gate is faulty — can you repair it?

Yes — we repair all major gate automation brands available in Kenya including BFT, CAME, NICE, FAAC, Centurion, and An-Motors. We carry common spare parts on our service vehicles and aim for same-day or next-day attendance in Nairobi for urgent gate faults. View our repair service →

What warranty do you provide?

All new gate automation installations carry a 2-year workmanship warranty. Gate motors and control boards carry the manufacturer's warranty (typically 1–2 years). Repairs carry a 12-month workmanship warranty. We provide full warranty documentation at project handover.

Do you install solar-powered gate systems?

Yes — we install solar-powered gate automation systems that operate completely off-grid using a solar panel, deep-cycle battery, and charge controller. This is ideal for properties with unreliable mains power, remote locations, or clients who want to eliminate electricity costs for their gate entirely.

Can I add remote or app control to my existing gate?

Yes — in most cases we can add additional remote controls, keypad access, RFID card readers, or smartphone app control to an existing working gate motor without replacing the motor. Contact us with your gate motor brand and we'll advise on the best access control upgrade for your situation.
