Both systems offer excellent security and convenience. The right choice depends on your property layout, inside space, gate design, and budget. Here is an honest, expert comparison:
Sliding Gate
The gate panel slides horizontally along the fence line. Requires wall space behind the gate equal to the gate width + 20–30% for motor and rack overhang. One motor regardless of gate width.
