The motor
A genuine Centurion or Nice Hansa gate motor sized to your gate's weight and daily use, with remote control receiver and control board.
Two remote controls
Two remotes come with every system. You can add extra 4-channel remotes in the extras step.
Battery backup
A 12V 7AH battery keeps the gate working through KPLC power cuts. Add the solar power kit if outages are frequent or the gate is off-grid.
Safety beams and surge protection
IR safety beams stop or reverse the gate when something is in its path. A surge protector protects the electronics from power spikes.
Cabling and concrete works
Power and control cabling, motor base and fixing are part of the price.

- Gate weight. A heavier gate needs a stronger motor, and the motor is the biggest cost.
- Gate type. Sliding and swing systems use different motors and hardware.
- How often it is used. An estate entrance cycles far more than a home gate and needs a heavier-duty motor.
- Number of gates. Each gate needs its own motor and safety beams.
- Extras. Intercom, solar, keypad and card access are priced separately so you only pay for what you need.
- Condition of the gate. A gate that sticks or sags may need repair before a motor is fitted.
- Distance. Transport to your town is confirmed at the free site assessment.

Does the gate work during a power cut?
Yes. Every system includes a 12V 7AH battery backup as standard, which keeps the gate working through KPLC outages. Add the solar power kit for frequent or long outages, or if the gate has no reliable mains supply.
Should I choose a sliding gate or a swing gate?
Your driveway usually decides it. Sliding gates suit tight driveways and gates close to the road, because they only need clear wall space beside the opening. Swing gates suit deeper driveways, where the gate has room to open. If you already have a gate, we usually automate the type you have.
Can you automate my existing gate?
In most cases, yes. The gate needs to be structurally sound and move freely by hand. We check its weight, alignment and condition at the free site visit and tell you honestly if it needs repair first.
How do I know which package I need?
The package depends on your gate's weight and how often it is used. A normal home gate suits the residential package, a larger or busier gate suits the commercial package, and heavy gates with constant use suit the industrial package. If you are unsure, choose the closest one and our technician confirms it at the site visit.
How long does installation take?
Most home installations are finished in 1 to 2 days. Commercial and estate projects with several access points can take 3 to 7 days, depending on the number of gates and cable runs. We give you a clear timeline on your final quotation.
Can I control my gate from my phone?
Yes. Our systems support smartphone control through GSM modules or internet-connected receivers, so you can open or close the gate from anywhere and get a notification when it is used. We can also link the gate to a video intercom.
What payment terms and warranty do you offer?
A 50% deposit is paid on acceptance and the balance on completion and handover. We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer and cash. All installations carry a 1-year workmanship warranty, and quotations are valid for 30 days.
